Each doll is lovingly made by a group of remarkable women in Sombor, Serbia — women who have escaped abusive homes and are rebuilding their lives with strength and dignity. Through the support of our charity, and proceeds from our fundraising cookbook, we were able to provide sewing machines and training, offering these women not just a skill, but a lifeline.
The first dolls were simple — their wild-colored hair reflecting both creative freedom and a new beginning. But soon, the women began dressing them in traditional Serbian costumes (nošnja), transforming them into beautiful representations of culture, identity, and pride.
