ROYAL FAMILY PRAISES ROSEN’S GENEROUS DONATION TO CHILDREN’S INSTITUTE IN BELGRADE
Belgrade, 15 December 2025 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine officially viewed a vital donation to the Institute for the Education of Children and Youth in Belgrade, made possible through the exceptional generosity of Mrs. Candice Rosen, given in loving memory of her late parents.
The donation, facilitated by Lifeline Humanitarian Organization of Chicago, under the long-standing Patronage of HRH Crown Princess Katherine, has significantly improved living conditions for the children residing at the Institute by fully upgrading its kitchen facilities and ensuring the preparation of high-quality, nutritious meals.
Thanks to Mrs. Rosen’s heartfelt support, the Institute received brand new, professional-grade kitchen equipment, including:
A modern stove with four flat burners
An industrial-quality, six-level convection oven
A professional dishwasher
A commercial grill
Ten large baking trays
Complete sets of pots, pans, and serving utensils
HRH Crown Princess Katherine expressed profound gratitude to Mrs. Rosen, emphasizing the lasting impact of her generosity. She added that seeing the joy on the children’s faces is the greatest reward for those who give selflessly.
“My husband and I are deeply grateful to Mrs. Candice Rosen and to Lifeline Chicago. Through their support, we have once again succeeded in improving the lives of children who need our help the most. This donation is a message to these children that they are loved, remembered, and never alone."
HRH Crown Prince Alexander commended both Mrs. Rosen and Lifeline Chicago, praising their unwavering commitment to humanitarian work and underscoring the importance of caring for children as an investment in the future.
Minister Đurđević Stamenkovski also acknowledged the significance of the donation, noting that the new kitchen equipment will greatly support both the children and the dedicated staff responsible for preparing their meals, calling them “heroes in the shadows” of the social welfare system.
The Director of the Institute, Mrs. Tatjana Milenković Kajkut, expressed sincere appreciation:
“This donation means so much to our Institution and, above all, to the children. The modern kitchen equipment will allow us to raise the quality of meal preparation and improve everyday life. We are profoundly thankful to HRH Crown Princess Katherine, Lifeline Chicago, and Mrs. Candice Rosen for their compassion and generosity.”
This project stands as another powerful example of how Rosen’s generosity, combined with the Royal Family’s humanitarian leadership, and Lifeline Chicago continues to make a tangible and lasting difference in the lives of vulnerable children.
