Improvements for Children in “ZVEČANSKA” Children’s Home
Belgrade, 26 May 2026Lifeline Humanitarian Organization Chicago, under the patronage of HRH Princess Katherine, continues its long-standing commitment to improving living conditions for children at the Home for Children Without Parental Care in Belgrade’s “Zvečanska” Children’s Home.
This latest project included the complete replacement of interior and entrance doors within the boys’ sixth educational group on the third floor, creating a safer, more functional, and welcoming environment for the children.
The initiative builds upon last year’s successful renovations to the girls’ fifth educational group, made possible through the generous support of Mr. Gary and Mrs. Charlene Stanich. Their continued compassion and dedication have played a vital role in enhancing the everyday lives of the children.
HRH Princess Katherine expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Stanich family and Lifeline Chicago supporters, emphasizing the importance of providing children with a safe and nurturing environment where they can grow and thrive.
The Home’s Director, Mrs. Biljana Jovanović, also shared sincere appreciation for the Foundation’s decades of ongoing care and support, noting that projects of this quality would be difficult to accomplish without the generosity of dedicated donors and humanitarian partners.
Thank you to Gary & Charlene Stanich for your generosity and support.
