Crown Princess Katherine and Lifeline Chicago continue support for children’s home in Sremčica

Belgrade, 19 May 2026 – Under the Patronage of HRH Crown Princess Katherine, Lifeline Humanitarian Organization Chicago proudly continued its longstanding support of the Children’s Home in Sremčica by donating 26 new mattresses, bed linens, colorful blankets, and mattress protectors for the children’s section of the Home.

This meaningful donation was made possible through the generosity of the Kolo of Serbian Sisters of St. Lazarus Serbian Orthodox Church Ravanica in Detroit, Michigan, along with their inspiring Junior Kolo Group, made up of girls ages 5–17 dedicated to helping others through charitable work.

“For more than three decades, our mission has been to care for children and those most in need. Every child deserves comfort, safety, and love,” said HRH Crown Princess Katherine, expressing gratitude to the donors for their compassion and dedication.

Dr. Marina Vidojević, Principal of the Children’s Home in Sremčica, shared her appreciation, noting that the donation brings warmth, comfort, and improved daily living conditions for the children in their care.
