HRH Crown Princess Katherine and Lifeline Chicago Support Kitchen Modernization
Belgrade, 16 March 2026 – Lifeline Humanitarian Organization Chicago, operating under the patronage of the Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia, has helped modernize the kitchen at the Institute for the Education of Children and Youth in Belgrade.
Thanks to a generous donation from the Three Kolo Group of Serbian Sisters — St. George of Joliet, Illinois; Knjeginja Zorka of Lansing, Illinois; and St. Archangel Michael of Lansing, Illinois — a new commercial-grade refrigerator and freezer have been installed. This important upgrade will improve food storage and kitchen operations, directly benefiting the children and staff of the Institute.
Crown Princess Katherine expressed her deep gratitude to the Kolo of Serbian Sisters for their longstanding commitment to humanitarian work and their continued support of Lifeline Chicago and her Foundation.
Tatjana Milenković Kajkut, Director of the Institute, also extended sincere thanks to Crown Princess Katherine, Lifeline Chicago, and all donors, noting that the upgraded kitchen will greatly enhance daily operations and care for the children.
Lifeline Humanitarian Organization Chicago remains dedicated to supporting vulnerable children and communities through meaningful humanitarian initiatives.
