Easter Joy Shared with Over 1,000 Children at the White Palace
Belgrade, April 7, 2026 - Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine hosted her annual Easter receptions at the White Palace, welcoming more than 1,000 socially vulnerable children from Serbia and the Republic of Srpska.
During two joyful gatherings, children enjoyed performances, music, and a festive Easter egg hunt in the Royal Park. Each child received gifts, sweets, and toys—continuing a beloved tradition started over 20 years ago to bring holiday joy to children in need.
“It is my heartfelt wish that every child leaves with a smile and a sense of joy,” said Crown Princess Katherine, emphasizing the importance of ensuring every child feels loved and remembered.
The event was held with the support of Lifeline Humanitarian Organization of Chicago and Lifeline Canada, along with numerous generous donors and partners. Additional support came from international schools in Belgrade through the “Children Helping Children” initiative, encouraging young people to give back to their peers in need.
This annual celebration continues to spread the true spirit of Easter—compassion, generosity, and hope—to children who need it mostly.
