Crown Princess Katherine and Lifeline Chicago Deliver Easter Meals to Over 19 Institutions
Belgrade, April 25, 2026 – The HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation and Lifeline Humanitarian Organization of Chicago, under the patronage of Crown Princess Katherine, continued their cherished tradition of providing Easter meals to those in need.
This year, more than nineteen institutions across Serbia and Republika Srpska received celebratory Easter lunches, including homes for children and youth in Belgrade, as well as facilities in Kruševac, Sombor, Bela Crkva, Kragujevac, Aleksinac, and Banja Luka. Meals were also delivered to women and children in shelters in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Vranje, and Banja Luka, along with elderly residents in Vranje.
This initiative was made possible through the generous support of many donors, including numerous Serbian Sisters Kolo Organizations and the support of the Stevan Hristich Choir of Phoenix. All of these contributions helped bring Easter comfort and joy to those in need.
“Easter is a time of hope, compassion, and togetherness. It is especially important that we remember those in need and show them that they are not forgotten,” said HRH Crown Princess Katherine.
